Texas Terror (Monogram, 1935). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Between 1933 and 1935 a young John Wayne starred in sixteen low budget Westerns for Lone Star, a division of the poverty row Monogram studio. Posters for these films have always been the hardest to find for Wayne and Western collectors alike and this title being one of the scarcest! In this film Wayne turns in one of his best early performances. One of the fun things about this move was the scene in the film where Indians, not the cavalry, arrive on horseback to rescue Wayne and save the day! Terrific bright color, with some border wear and pinholes to the border corners and one by Duke's top left shoulder. Some scuff marks on Indian's pant's at far left and a small piece fo ape in lower left.  Couple small tears on border edges.  That said, a very Rare and desirable 85+ year old Original Vintage John Wayne western movie poster .
