Shall We Dance (RKO, 1937). Fine. Lobby Card  (11" X 14").
The seventh pairing of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers finds them involved in a fake marriage scheme, with hilarious complications. Astaire plays a phony Russian ballet dancer who falls for stage dancer Rogers, with fun support from the brilliant comedians Edward Everett Horton and Eric Blore. It's considered one of the duo's best performances with such classic musical numbers as "They All Laughed," "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off," and "They Can't Take That Away From Me," written by George and Ira Gershwin, coupled with wonderful direction by Mark Sandrich.
Starring Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Edward Everett Horton, Eric Blore, Jerome Cowan, Ketti Gallian, William Brisbane, and Harriet Hoctor. Directed by Mark Sandrich. Unrestored lobby card with good color and overall very presentable appearances. They may have edge and handling wear, corner wear including corner bends and corner chips, graphite marking, stains/staining, and toning.

Condition:  Very good Original 100% Un-restored condition. . Card has some border wear and chipping and graphite marking in the middle (on man's dark coat, easily removed).  These are insignificant inexpensive fixes if so desired  (last lobby card I had a corner chip restored cost $40) .  But the vintage wear is a nice additional touch of authenticity and the image remains gorgeous.  Plus,  after the lobby card is matted and framed the border edge chip won't be visible
NOTE: Many if not most of these that appear on the market have noticeable color fading.   But as you can see with this gem, the bright colors have survived brilliantly!

Note:  Original lobby cards for this title can sell for over $1000.  A One Sheet for this title sold in December 2024 for over $22,000! And that poster required fairly extensive restoration including the top border and 1” of the poster having to be replaced.   An attestation to the desirability of vintage paper from this Rare Astaire/Rogers title.
