After four decades of collecting classic Hollywood history, we have Finally acquired the Very Rare, most beautiful and Best Original "KING KONG" lobby card!   The Kong and Fay Wray Close-up!   Simply breath-taking!
Offered here is a vintage original 11 x 14 in. U.S. lobby card from KING KONG, produced by RKO in 1933 (with David O. Selznick as Executive Producer) and co-directed by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack. 

This stunning choice lobby card is from RKO's 1956 theatrical re-release of the film, which was one of several theatrical re-releases of this extremely popular and iconic horror film.   This is one of the most popular of the re-release lobby cards due to the superior artwork, colors and the fantastic border art of Kong climbing up the side of the card and of course the Best looby card scene with a stunning close-up of Kong holding Fay Wray in the tree. .    This card is Very scarce and has only appeared on the market a few times over the past 15 or 20 years.   And most of those have been in much inferior condition.    This is the Best condition one we have ever seen 

Note: This particular lobby card scene only appeared in the 1933 lobby card set and the 1956 re-release set.  The 1933 lobby card has sold for over $10,000!  And this 1956 theatrical re-release lobby card is just as Gorgeous as the 1933 card. 

Excellent condition with just very subtle age related toning on border edges. .

As the greatest monster movie ever made, King Kong enjoys a unique position in poster collecting, since demand for any paper on this title is fairly constant, and never enough to meet demand. Offered here is THE terrific lobby card from the 1956 reissue, with amazing close-up of Kong holding Fay Wray hostage and 
bold border artwork showing the beautiful Fay Wray in the clutches of the beast himself.   Actually this is considered the BEST card of the set with an amazing close-up of Kong. Note: Only the 1933 and the 1956 lobby card set had a close-up of Kong and it has always been the most desirable by collectors.   

Starring Fay Wray, Robert Armstrong, Bruce Cabot, Frank Reicher, Sam Hardy, Noble Johnson, and Victor Wong. Directed by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack. An unrestored lobby card with nice color and excellent overall appearance.  With just minor subtle age toning on border edges.
