James Dean made an indelible impression on the cinema as Jett Rink, wildcatter, roughneck, and Texas entrepreneur in George Steven's "Giant." Dean is featured on these, one of the  best lobby cards from the set. The #6 card, also known as the "crucifix" scene, features a young and admiring Elizabeth Taylor worshiping at Dean's feet.  Very Fine condition and is very rarely offered.

Collectors are in for a treat with this rare offering--lobby card from this epic West Texas familial saga. George Stevens directs Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson, Mercedes McCambridge, and James Dean in his third and final screen appearance, as the hot headed Jett Rink.  Unfortunately James Dean would not live to see the release of this masterpiece.

The monumental struggle of wills between Texas cattle baron Bick Benedict (Rock Hudson) and hired hand turned rich oil man Jett Rink (James Dean) comes to a head when Jett announces his oil well strike to the lord of Reata, Bick. This famous epic tells the story of Bick and his wife Leslie (Elizabeth Taylor) and the generations that follow on the plains of West Texas, confronting hard times, death, and racism.
