Its 1951 and the United States has just entered into the Korean War.    There's a lot of uncertainty and anxiety in the air and Americans are desperate for a distraction, something amazing.   And no one could deliver Amazement better than PT Barnum and his legendary circus animals and entertainers.

Striking vintage circus artwork on this Original 1951 Barnum & Bailey poster.   Very good-Excellent condition.    Great provenance with original location and date tail on bottom.   This poster was used for promoting the Circus in East Providence, RI in 1951.    Great piece of history !
