Imagine being featured on an Original Movie Poster that didn’t even have you in the Credits?

That was the Magic of Marilyn Monroe!

Here is one of her first feature films from  1950, “Asphalt Jungle”.    The 1954 re-release would capitalize on her new super stardom.  But imagine, in 1950 they didn’t quite know what they had, but just another  striking uncredited starlet, that they probably assumed would be forgotten in a few years .  

VERY RARE Gorgeous half sheet movie poster for this 1950 classic which co-starred an unaccredited, unknown actress by the name of Marilyn Monroe.  

Its interesting to note that although her name is not listed in the credits, her image is used Twice on the poster including the main area in the middle.  I guess even before she became the biggest movie star in the world the studio executives and movie poster designers knew they had something quite special..   Fantastic bright color  graphics.   Professionally linen backed and looks amazing!

A restored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance.
