Original Vintage Sci-Fi Lobby Card Movie Poster (11x14")
I am often asked what my favorite lobby card is. And while like everyone else I like the teir one vintage horror titles like Frankenstein and Dracula, my favorite designed lobby card is from the 1957 Sci Fi classic “Invasion of the Saucer-men”. In particular, the Albert Kallis border art is some of the best ever created for the movie poster genre.
Considered by many Horror Sci-Fi Collectors as one of the best lobby card designs of the 1950s Sci Fi genre. These lobby cards have it all! Exciting Bright colors, Spectacular Border Art with Martians descending onto earth abducting humans, and some with Striking Close ups of the Saucer Men (unlike many 50s Sci Fi classics like War of the Worlds that didn’t include the aliens in any of the lobby cards). This card is the best and most desirable in the set with the BEST spectacular close-up of the Saucer Men !.
Condition: This card is Very Good-Excellent condition. No tears or missing pieces and bright colors like when they were printed 55 years ago. Had minor restoration to correct some border stains and remove tape on back. Has a nice vintage toning for that added touch of authenticity.
