Based on my 35+ Years Collecting historical entertainment & sports memorabilia, I can confidently predict that Here is a vintage poster you will Never see Again!. Over 35 years ago my passion for collecting vintage movie posters began when I spotted at a comic book show, the most beautiful movie poster I had ever seen. It was a 1953 "Abbott & Costello Meet Dr Jekyll & Mr. Hyde". And a love for classic film art was born! One of the posters I’ve been on a 35 year quest for that has eluded me is one of the most Rare of them all. The 1941 WW2 era “In The Navy” where we discover the Priceless collaboration with the Andrew Sisters, who added a special layer of Magic to the A&C films they appeared in, in the early 1940s. . This Gem has it all! Spectacular colors, giant red title fonts and terrific art of Bud, Lou and the legendary Andrew Sisters.
In the genre of classic comedy cinema poster art, this is a Masterpiece!
This beauty has been professionally linen backed and ready for eye catching presentation. . There is the typical touch up to the fold lines.

Note: Seasoned Collectors know why early 1940s original movie posters are extremely scarce. Primarily due to the War Paper drives. At the onset of WW2 most movie theater owners were obligated to send all unused movie posters to the war paper drives. That’s why late 1930s and early 1940s movie posters are the most rare of them all.
Here one of my favorite Andrew Sister scenes, The Hula Scene! Which was included in the one sheet artwork (see lower right corner of poster) SEE HERE
In the Navy (Universal, 1941). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41").
After their box office smash hit, Buck Privates, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello were given free reign by Universal to create another service-oriented comedy. This time the comedy duo share the trials of Navy life with an incognito radio crooner played by Dick Powell. In between Abbott and Costello's classic comedy bits, the Andrews Sisters perform several songs.
